Age Groups

The British Ski Cross Series will split competitors into 3 age groups - Youth, Junior and Senior. All competitors are split into age groups based on their year of birth. For the 2008 Series this is as follows:

Youth - Born in 1994 and after
Junior - Born between 1993 and 1991
Senior - Born in 1990 and before

Due to numbers, male competitors will compete within their age groups, with the winner of each age group competing in the "Super Final". The females will compete together, regardless of age, with the age group winners being decided by the competitor of that age who progresses furthest. The winner of the female category will take the remaining slot for the "Super Final".

Prizes
Product prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all three age groups, for both males and females. Prize money is issued to competitors placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Super Final. The overall British Ski Cross Series winners for male and female will be calculated from accumulated points, based on appearances in the final 4 positions within their ages groups. Points are awarded as such

Super Final (made up of category winners)
1st - 15 points
2nd - 12 points
3rd - 10 points
4th - 8 points

Age Group / Female
2nd - 6 points
3rd - 4 points
4th - 2 points
